Ex-Mary Washington President Guilty of Second DUI

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) -- Former University of Mary Washington president William J. Frawley 54, was convicted today on another drunken-driving charge -- this time in Fairfax County.

A Fairfax County judge suspended a 30-day jail sentence, fined him $300 and suspended Frawley's license for a year -- all on condition that Frawley remain on good behavior for a year. The judge also sentenced Frawley to substance-abuse counseling.

I see it as such a tragedy that this Drunk Driving conviction to happen to a 54 year old man! Together with the court sentencing it made him to loose this most important job at this age among other thing and the DWI stigma on his entire life.

But what makes me to feel extremely sorry for him is the way that he takes the entire blame of his drunk driving on himself, pleads guilty and like everybody else and become the latest gullible victim of the alcohol industry and the authorities fraudulent deed or the misconduct!

I suggest William Frawley to visit most importantly my following web pages (and the other posts as well)so he might get some basic about the causes of drunk driving, which are hidden from the public view. Hope it would provide him and his families a deep inside into this matter so help to fight it out.
