Drunk Driving Sentence Light in India

I came across this Drunk Driving news report in the Express News Service India . I found it amazing because the punishment for the DUI offence so light that I thought that the DUI offenders of US or the western countries would envy it. Perhaps the DUI accident and the sensitivity towards it is far less in here (compared to its population) than it is in the west. Here I copy and paste most of the news report as it is.
