Drunks Carrying Designated Driver Wins Prize

Came across this news report on the drunk driving matters in
http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/industries/retail/article/david-phoenix-advocate-drunk-driving-prevention-wins-super-bowl-tickets_460033_7.html

The irony of this prize is it is co-sponsored by a company, (as most of the time) which markets the drunk driving/accident causing alcohol drinks for the public consumption!

On the one hand they captivate the public into drinking those high amount of alcohol drug containing drinks that causes this problem in the first place then they distribute the prizes to help to solve the problem!

Of course the designated drivers prevent many drunk driving/accidents, but it is so tiny compare to the total numbers. It may also provide a good reason for people to get drunk in a driving situation!

Most importantly the designated drivers provide another much needed justification for the alcohol drink governing bosses to license and market those drunk driving causing high amount of alcohol drug (around and above 5%) containing drinks, which causes almost all those alcohol(ism) problems including the drunk driving/accidents.

In this regard I suggest to read the most important “DUI Drunk-Driving Root Cause” Blog Posts, in the web link given below.
