Alcohol Bosses: The Real Culprits of Drunk Driving

The great irony of this very serious “drunk driving” issue today is that “people” (individuals, groups, organizations, agencies) who are at the forefront in the battle against drunk driving who demand severe punishment to the drunk drivers on the other hand do absolutely nothing to prevent the “Alcohol Governing Bosses” from licensing and marketing those extremely dangerous high-alcohol content drinks for public consumption in the name of Standard Alcohol Drinks (SADs), which evidently causes almost all those alcohol(ism) problems most blazingly the drunk driving accidents.

It is all those alcohol bosses for their own “vested interest” and the high alcohol profit, beguile the alcohol vulnerable people into drinking the above mentioned extremely dangerous SADs (most popular is the standard “beer” that contain around 5% alcohol), which can make the alcohol vulnerable people to quickly and ‘effortlessly’ get extremely drunk (easily two to three times over the stipulated BAC limits- those spirit cocktail drinks can knock out anyone so fast and keep in that state hours together even lead to death). It unwittingly “impairs” their ability of judgment. As a result many go into Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Higher the concentration of alcohol in their drink cocktail higher becomes their impairment, intoxication so the dangerous of falling into its tragic accidents, seriously maiming, tragically killing and totally devastation the life of hundreds of those people.

However despite the above mentioned drunk driving causing facts, the “people” in the field of DUI prevention who are at the forefront of investigating its root-causes, blindly put its entire blame on the drunk drivers. Of course there are some exemptions if an underage person(s) found in a drunk driving incidents then they are not entirely blamed for it. Considering their alcohol vulnerable, gullible young age, some of its blame put on the parents or the party host or any one if they provide or in any way facilitated the underage children’s drinking. And in some other cases the bartenders or the owners of the pub made responsible for allowing a adult person to get so much drunk if then he/she gets involved in a drunk driving incidents.

It shows at least that the drunk driving can not be entirely blamed upon the drunk drivers alone, the people who provide or facilitate those drinks to them directly or indirectly become responsible in it.--- Still none of its blame put on the alcohol governing bosses.--- The first to start with is the alcohol(ism) problem research, its policy making, licensing, authorities who are responsible for allowing or sanctioning such extremely dangerous high-alcohol drinks for the public consumption, which as the alcohol epidemiological research survey obviously point out causes almost all those drunk driving accidents.

Thereafter comes the alcohol drink manufacturing marketing industry bosses. (I put them in the secondary position because without the alcohol governing bosses licensing, its manufacturing marketing becomes illegal thus can not function as it is.) It is mainly these alcohol beverages manufacturing, marketing industry bosses who bewitch the public by their marketing campaign that creates and displays grand images of these SADs before the public, which promises of promiscuous pleasures that captivates the alcohol gullible people into consuming such a extremely dangerous high alcohol content drinks mainly to gain their super high profit. ----As the consequence, the alcohol vulnerable people who have a natural taste, appetite, likings for the alcoholic beverages, in a particular drink situation somehow inadvertently get extremely drunk intoxicated become crazy or impair their judgment to that extent that many of them due to many of the contributing factors unwittingly fall into drunk driving.

Thirdly in this row I point out to the Governments alcohol tax department authorities who collect equally huge sums of tax revenues as their share in this alcohol manufacturing and marketing business. They should at least (for the time being) have the responsibility and liability to pay the compensation in return for the victims of drunk driving from their of huge alcohol tax revenue collection.

These above mentioned alcohol governing bosses figure nowhere in all the terrible drunk driving topics. Those “people” who are so vocal in demanding severe punishment for the drunk drivers on the other hand do absolutely nothing in preventing all those who are basically responsible that I mentioned above who are the real culprits behind the drunk driving.

In fact blaming it entirely on the alcohol vulnerable gullible drunk drivers suits or serves the interest of the alcohol governing bosses very well. As it makes it most easier for them to hide and cover up their own misgivings, misconduct in this issue. With the help of “people” who are at the forefront of the battle against the drunk driving they can easily fool the public into by indoctrinating them into following their dogmatic DUI official line of engaging in a highly emotive and vindictive campaign entirely against the drunk drivers making these alcohol beguiled, gullible, vulnerable people into this DUI scapegoats.

As long as those alcohol governing bosses license and market such extremely dangerous high alcohol drinks (SADs)for the public consumption such tragic drunk driving accidents devastations mayhems basically going to continue. --- All their DUI preventative measures that they recommend and impose upon the public such as assigning designated drivers, ignition interlocks, sobriety checkpoints, statistics and finally severe punishment for the DUI offenders, all are mostly window dressing!
