197,248 DUI arrest in California

Came across this drunk driving news report in

The most interesting point in this report that draw my attention is what I selected as the title of this blog:

“197,248 DUI arrest in the California State last year!”

If you assume this DUI arrest figure is only 10% of the people, then total number of people who have been drunk driving comes roughly around Two million!

Can any one consider this as any success resulting from all those DUI prevention strategies of the authorities? Is there something basically wrong with all their DUI prevention strategies?

You like it or not! As long as the alcohol drink governing bosses license and market those drunk driving causing alcohol drinks for the public consumption the alcohol vulnerable gullible people unwittingly get into it.

The root-cause of drunk driving lies in the “misconduct”, “vested interest” of the alcohol authorities that I mentioned above.

As long as it continues the drunk driving mayhem will continue more or less much the same!
