College Drinking Games Leads to Higher Blood Alcohol Levels

Came across this above news report on college students alcohol drinking in:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/06/AR2008010600771.html
Of course such drinking games can potentially lead the students into excessive alcohol consumptions and into dangerous alcohol(ism) problems including the drunk driving/accidents.

However the most important fact that this NIAAA study don’t tell you is: It is those extremely dangerous high alcohol drinks, named ‘standard alcohol drinks’ most popular is the regular beer containing around and above 5% alcohol content used in these college drinking games Leads to Higher Blood Alcohol Levels!

On the other hand, if the low-alcohol (preferably around 2% and below) drinks used in these games then their blood alcohol level of the students who participate in these drinking competitions at the end of the game would be substantially far less!

However it seems that the authorities have no moral stand to give this safe alcohol drinking advice to the students because they themselves don’t follow it in their own drinking! Instead they declare College Students thou shall not drink! Of course they don’t follow it either.

Don’t make the alcohol drinks taboo in such special occasion. Instead make the alcohol drinks safe for them and to every one, whoever if they ever choose to drink.

In this regard I suggest to read the most important “DUI Drunk-Driving Root Cause” Blog Posts, in the web link given below.
